Founded in 1892, the College Republicans at the University of Michigan proudly holds the distinction of being the first College GOP chapter in America. For over a century, we have been a cornerstone of conservative values, leadership, and engagement on campus. Our mission is to empower students with opportunities to connect, learn, and lead through the lens of Republican and conservative principles. We meet weekly to discuss current events and other politically relevant topics, fostering a space to engage in spirited and civil discourse. Throughout the year, we also host a variety of guest speakers, bringing thought leaders, public officials, and influential voices to campus. Beyond politics, we occasionally organize social events that build lasting friendships and a strong sense of community among our members.
